Sugar was first purchased as a riding horse for Michael but he was taken with Cassie and he only rode her a few times.
We had grown fond of her and considering her granddad was Colonel Freckles we put her in foal to Sean Dillon. Her offspring seem to benefit from the good paces of both parents.
Breeze was her first foal in 2004, we failed to get a foal from her in 2005 but this year we have Fergie . We hope we have more sleepless nights waiting for a foal next year.
